What makes everyone think that rice still has it? He has struggled badly since last season and Justin Forsett comes in behind him and dominates. The same Justin Forsett who couldn't even cut it for Jacksonville.

I don't know, sometimes a new environment can do wonders I.E Sproles

Not that I think he can be that effective. But at the right price why not? Not like we would break the bank for him

Peyton Manning wouldn't even look good in Jacksonville.

I guess I just don't get why the interest in Rice when Ben Tate was available weeks ago. UNLESS the Vikings claim on him prohibited the Saints from doing so.

Vikings had higher priority on waiver claim. Saints didn't get that chance I believe.

That's what I figured...Tate never actually became a free agent, right? The Vikings actually claimed him first.

I wish I had the Order that was posted on twitter by Pro football talk. Don't remember if the Saints even made that attempt of not. He was a Free agent but Vikings were just higher in the list. I think Indy had tried to grab him as well

I want Rice so bad, especially with ingram leaving in the offseason and Thomas getting old. Rice would be dirt cheap to sign and have a chip on his shoulder. Good running back that wouldn't strain our cap situation.

And every one here who is against him because of their super moral fiber can frick off.

Because rice does football better than that bitch tate. Tate was cut mid season because he sucks. Not cause of media pressure caused by the pussy public.

Yeah, but I think that when he's waived he passes through the claims process. Then if he clears, he's a free agent and any team has equal opportunity to sign him.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I understand Why people would want to steer clear. But the guy should get a second chance at some point. Everyone else has.

But I really don't want hear that we don't sign these type of guys. We've had bad guys and will have them. It happens

Rice has not been good. But sometimes players need new situations to get them out of a funk. A 1 year deal for league minimum is worth it

I have to agree with you. Rice is a grade A piece of shite I want nowhere near this team.

But fan actually. I just care more about important things like not being a piece of shite than I do winning.
