Armstead back? Please tell me yes. We're so dead if Harris plays

Bryce Harris is our death knell.

I've yet to meet anyone named Bryce that I trust

The two Harris' will bury us all.

If we could remove all the Harris and never draft one I'd be happy.

Not suprising given our OT health right now. I'm still optimistic Armstead and Peat both play, hopefully this is just insurance if they both have to leave the game.

Obviously I want both Armstead & Peat to play, but we should be able to manage with just 1 of them. We're screwed if they both aren't in the game though.
Kelemete, LeRibeus, Unger, Warford, Ramczyk. The only other options we have are John Greco & Bryce Harris...yikes.

Per PFF...they had us as the #4 pass blocking OL, but the #23 overall OL(average player grade). That must mean our run blocking has been close to the bottom of the league in run blocking. A healthy Armstead should change this to some degree. Fortunately our pass blocking & Brees' quick release/pocket awareness are getting the job done as usual.
After having a great year last year...Unger has been underwhelming so far this year & needs to really pick it up. He still has time to turn it around, but you have to think drafting a center is a real possibility if he doesn't (Fortunately legit OC prospects can be drafted all the way to the 5th round usually. 6th round in some drafts). 2019 is a real possibility to cut Unger due to a very small dead money hit. Maybe even 2018, but I seriously doubt we go that route unless he is horrendous for the rest of the year(even if he is horrendous, we might bank on him having a bounceback year in 2018).
Unger's Cap Hit
2017 - 7.4mil
2018 - 8.0mil. 3.5mil dead money hit if cut
2019 - 8.7mil. 1.75mil dead money hit if cut
This is what PFF had to say about Unger...
"Center Max Unger is currently PFF’s 31st-ranked center with a grade of 39.2 and is having his worst-graded season to date, mainly due to his run-blocking. Also, Unger is on pace to allow 16 total pressures this season, which would be the most pressures he has given up since his rookie season in 2009. In addition, New Orleans averages just 1.20 yards before contact on runs, which ranks 22nd in the NFL."
