I like it. He’s one of our all time great O-Lineman who helped us win a Superbowl.

Great for Jahri and glad he’s back, but he has a lot of development before he’s at that level

He's one of the most technically-sound guards the Saints have ever had. If he can transfer at least a portion of his knowledge to those guys they will be much better than last season.

Why? Because he was a better player? If anything history has shown lesser players have to hone their technique and drive become better coaches.

Lol But people need to research first before they comment on people. Evans is basically doing the same thing that Strief is doing, and I'm sure he will make an excellent coach himself. Jahri Evans was a fourth-round pick by the Saints in the 2006 NFL Draft out of Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. His offensive coordinator for his first two years was Doug Marrone.
Hope it works out for him and us. Player/coaches start small but you never know where they will end up or how high they can go. I imagine he and Marrone must work well together.
