Saint's Draft this year - what will the FO do?

Sure we get pick #14 and #45, but after that we have to wait until the 5th round for our next pick.
With all the holes we have, plus aging starters, what do the Saints do this year? 5th rounders usually don't last long in the NFL.
1. Trade back - not likely for this organization
2. Use next year's picks to trade up for this year (packaging with our late round picks)
3. Package some late round picks to try to jump into the 3rd round.
4. Stay put and draft what we have.
** Thank God for those 3 compensatory picks or we would be in trouble.

This strategy has worked like a charm every time they've done it. It's been so great I think they should just go ahead and combine some future picks with our current 2024 picks now so we can move up a few spots and wait until draft day to see who will be available.

I think they will trade up in the second round..
Take an Edge Rusher in the 1st
Move up in the 2nd and take an OT..

No one has faith in Turner or Fosky? Premium picks were burned on them. Edge rusher shoujd be one of the last positions we draft.

just trade all our day 3 picks for a 3 and call it a day

Trade our 25 1st and a 5th for a 24 1st, trade our 25 2nd and 6th for a 24 2nd, rinse and repeat next year. That will give us a really good edge, OT, TE, OG with those 4 picks. All in the top 60.
