I just want peoples reasons for why they think he will be so good.
because they had great camps like Onome Ojo.
I like what Porter did in his short time...as far as Pressley, who knows what he can bring. Arrington was said to have looked good, but its pretty crowded at WR.

Where'd he go?
Uh, the seventh round of the NFL draft. You know, the last possible round one can be drafted in.
The same round Marques Colston went in, who could possibly be the only 7th round receiver that actually produces.

Maybe they should just shorten the draft by three rounds. Separate the wheat from the chaff.
Dumbass.

Meacham will be way better than Arrington this year, if Arrington even sees the field.
So you know 1 no.1 wideout who was taken in the 7th round? And who is th HoF QB you speak of? Certainly they came around once in a blue moon. Delusional Saints fans are the best. Let me guess, JoLonn Dunbar is going to be an All-Pro this year? Crown their arse Ice Cold, CROWN THEM BOTH!
Dumbass.
edit: if you were talking about Brady he is isn't in the Hall

There are tons examples of good and even great WR's who were late rounders or were undrafted. I have no idea if Arrington will be one of them, but saying he won't based solely on where he was drafted is pretty ignorant. A few relatively recent examples: Colston, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Joe Horn, Donald Driver, Wes Welker, Rod Smith, Kenan Mcardell, Derrick Mason... If you want to go way back, trust me it gets worse. That's some shitty flamin', paw paw.

You my friend are the prime example of a typical ahole who spends all of his time on the OT or the Rant, then decides to drop in here every now and then to post some stupid shite to piss everyone off.
If you had spent more than 10 seconds on this board, or doing any research of your own, you would know that Sean P is extremely high on this kid (arrington) going into this year and has stated that this kid has a shot at not only making this team, but fighting for a #4 or #3 WR spot.
Do some actual research them come back with some actual knowledge. Mean time go back to where you came.

can i call people saintards for celebrating the reggie bush pick in hindsight?
and arrington fell a few rounds for character concerns, so it's not like he's a bum. he was a fairly productive WR in a BCS conference who has decent measurables
pressley has as much, if not more, physical talent than dorsey. he just doesn't have the motor. he also has character concerns
are the odds that both of these guys live up to their physical talent? no, but just b/c they were drafted late doesn't mean they're another mike haas (no real room for development b/c of a lack of tools)

If healthy I forsee Demario Pressley having an immediate impact on the d-line...very similar to the impact Carl Nicks had on the o-line. Both were among the best at there position prior to the draft but fell down the board b/c they were flaged with character issues. In reality they both have good character...they simply just fell victim to the media spotlight on "character issues" b/c of the recent Vick and Pacman issues.
The reason Pressley wasn't drafted higher was because he couldn't stay healthy at N.C. St.

Saints' best moves coule be straight off IR
1. Porter
2. Pressley
3. Arrington
Hard to overstate Porter's impact when healthy. Pressley is practically another high-round draft pick for this year, and Arrington could be another late WR steal.
Agree......great point.

Don't know what Arrington or Pressley will bring this season, but, I do agree that it's like having 2 new players.
I'm not looking for either of these guys to start, just add some depth.
