Hope so man. Didn't the Ravens just draft a bunch of TEs the last two years?

And they sought our 35 year old out. Bad drafts. Pitta is always hurt and Maxx is a project and Gilmoore is egh.

They drafted two last year (Williams, Boyle), and one the year before (Gilmore). Pretty unexpected that they would sign Watson, but maybe the wanted a vet to show the young guys the ropes.

Damn, hate to lose him. He seems like just a great guy.

However, he is up there in age and I wouldn't want to pay him too too much.

We have a LOT of holes to fill on both sides of the ball. G/G/WR/TE at the least on O and DE/OLB/DT/CB at the very least on D.

Ugh, this is the one player I didn't want us to lose. Good veteran presence in the locker room. The youth movement is fine, but it seems like we are running out of vets to show them the ropes.

Eventually the "youth movement" is going to have to step up. Hopefully they answer the calling...

If the FO doesn't at least put forth their best effort to bring in Green, then frick everything.

It makes too much sense.

This is a loss from an off the field standpoint.

On the field, Ben Watson is a 30 catch guy without Drew Brees.

Well the Saints don't have any veteran leadership outside of Brees so it'll be tough for them this season if they don't find a couple veterans in free agency. Anquan Boldin has my vote to replace Colston
