Saints are waiting until all of their interviews take jobs so they can give it to Curry

This was always the plan. Everyone in the league knows Allen is a lame duck but Allen and Loomis.

What good coach would want 1 of 32 prestigious jobs in the nfl? Where even when you get fired as an OC, you usually just get recycled to another one... so just breaking through and getting hired is the first step.

yep, its the same as what they did when they hired DA

this is what the announcement will say

"we did an extensive search, and everyone better was already hired by other teams, we decided curry was the best fit, since he was the best available at the time"

You have to know Demeco is in Johnson's ear telling him to hold out for another opportunity

To justify picking Curry.

"We did a league wide search and just felt like Ronald Curry was the best man for the job"

Because of how putrid the offense was last season. The idea would be to get a guy from a team that had a good offense. Not fool proof, but is generally accepted as good practice.
