I might be the only one who thinks this, but I saw a lot of positives from this game. The play calling was horrendous, but Sean should be able to fix that. IMO Carmichael needs to take over the play calling duties. Snead, Cooks, and Coleman will be good for us.

I actually have confidence in this defense moving forward. Team is young, but they are playing pretty well today out side of a few rookie mistakes.

You folks have to understand that Cardinals have arguable the best secondary in the league and possibly the best defense we will see all year.
We played them at home, first game of season, and was neck and neck with them for the most part.

We will be scary good, book it now.

Saints are a mess right now. Bunch of free agents that try hard. But we are slim on NFL talent

I agree with this completely. I was just telling people that if we can get through the colts game sitting at 3-4 or 4-3 I see us getting hot as the schedule gets favorable for us.

I wish I could I agree with you.

I have NEVER seen a Sean Payton team that literally wasn't playing to win. In the 4th quarter, that team was playing to keep it close, kick some field goals, and pray for a turnover or blown coverage at the end of the game.

That didn't even happen at the beginning of the 2006 season.

Also completely agree. Much more encouraged after this game than I was after last year's loss to the Falcons.

I was thinking the same thing recently. Coach Payton may be in the last few years of his time in NOLA. Mr. Brees is definitely in his last few years here.

The Saints might kick arse to the Superbowl in 2016, but, I don't see it happening in 2015.

I agree with you. I think the division is ours to lose. Most of the responses to your post are from drunk people that don't no football and are still upset about the LSU win. Wait an hour before you post something with optimistic expectations.

You were really okay with Sean Payton seeing an Pro Bowl DB on the other side and saying "We give up. We can't beat you so we won't even try"?

Teams that are about to be "scary good" don't act that way.
