Saints are a lock to win a playoff game imo.

Even as a 6th seed.

Here's how it sets up.

You guys would play the Eagles or the Cowboys in the first round?

C'mon. As impressive as Nick Foles is....he's not winning a shootout against Brees. And that Eagles defense would be gashed.

The Cowboys are even worse on defense. Tony Romo....win a playoff game against Brees??

Not to mention if you guys somehow get the #2 seed (Need Matty to be ELITE...at least against Carolina)

No team is going into New Orleans and beating the Saints. You're a different animal in your home stadium.

The only concern is going to Seattle....and hey...anything can happen in the playoffs.

But there is no way imo....an NFC East team beats you in a first round.....and its hard to imagine anyone beating New Orleans in New Orleans (if you get the 2nd seed) ..soo.....

Chill out Saints fans. You're good.

6th seed doesn't play a home game bro

Unless you're trolling, in which case, that's just mean.

Saints won't win the Super Bowl not because they can't but lack of run game (play calling) and the weather in New Jersey will be terrible.

Most likely scenario at this point is to end up back in Chicago where we won earlier this year.

Not trolling. Misspoke earlier cause my next point was about teams going to New Orleans (if they got the #2 seed)

so my mistake.

But yea....The Saints can beat Philly/Dallas on the road imo.

The issue is after getting that win.....going to Seattle. With a little luck....You get the bye, beat whoever you play in New Orleans....and then go to Seattle.

I'm not blowing smoke. I feel you guys will at least win a playoff game this year. Cowboys are a disaster in big games. Eagles....still untested and only played well against crap teams (should have lost to Arizona who is a good team)

I'm not sold on either team. You'll win if you're a 6th seed.

If you get lucky enough to win the 2nd seed....then no one is beating you on your home turf.

Since you can see the future, who will win? And by how much?

I gotta place my bets

I'm hoping we get Dallas in the first round if things stay as is. Best case scenario in my opinion, if the Saints get in as a wild card.

Would be worried about playing in Philly, Chicago as well

Yep. Gotta look at the teams who gave New Orleans trouble on the road.

Rams, Panthers, Jets...

all physical teams.

The Cowboys are pushovers on defense. Eagles...eh..I'm not sold. Matt Cassel lit them up.

If the Saints had to travel to San Fran....I might be skeptical. But these teams? Saints would beat them.

How so?

Have you seen Chicago's defense??

Philly....idk. I think Rob Ryan could dial something up to slow down this offense.

The Chiefs and even the Cowboys.....knew that you had to be physical and press their wrs. Foles...as great as he's been....is not as good with pressure. I think Rob could provide enough...and then..in a big moment...do I trust Foles or Brees? C'mon.

Excuse me but am I missing something here? Don't the Saints actually have to make the playoffs first?

Brady almost lost to EJ Manuel this year. Its the regular season....who cares.

Playoffs are a different story. Neither of those teams (Chicago/Philly/Dallas) have a tough physical defense like the Rams or Panthers.

So your argument applies to Nick Foles too then? Or is it only my analogies that are baseless?

Eagles would probably be favored by a FG if we play them and I would be inclined to agree with that line. I think we CAN beat any of them, Eagles are the only one I don't think we WILL beat
