As bad as the D play, you gotta give credit to the GB O. Rodgers made some amazing passes and their WR's caught everything. Our DB's had great coverage on them and Rodgers would hit it right where it needed to be. Not many QB's can hit passes like that as consistently as he did.

In retrospect, the Saints did A LOT of things to put the offense behind. Missed tackles, bad pass D. I had forgotten about the Packer's KO return for a TD.

No DEs and missing a possession WR is tough against the defending champs in their house.

Brees is flat out ridiculous. He played great.

Red Zone offense needs more work than the defense IMO.

What a crazy freaking game! I'm not sure if both offenses are this good, or if both defenses are just rusty. I'm still kind of scratching my head as to why the ball was taken out of your leaders (Brees) hands at the end of the game and given to Ingram. There is no telling what that stop might do to Ingram and his confidence. Good luck the rest of the season (except when you play the Falcons of course)

Screw the offense...they played great. Scoring 34 will get you a win 70% of the time. Allowing 42 will probably get you a W maybe 5%.

That defense needs work, regardless. Matt Ryan and Josh Freemen (with his 26/5 split) will eat the Saints up.

I had a bad feeling about our front 7 before this game...and I'm not feeling any better!

I'd like to see some more disguising out of our defense with guys standing around and moving at the snap. We just seemed to set up right into what the Pack wanted to do all night long

What A great Opening game for the season!

You can almost call that game NFC Championship game.

It will probably be better than Super Bowl XLVI ,

these two offense really are unstopable. They hung 30 pts plus on the Ravens and Falcons last year without all these guys. The Ravens..

Ok, now that my meltdown is over, some observations. LOL!

Saints D had the uneviable task of stopping arguably the best passing attack in the Leaugue. Right now there is no hotter, QB, Team, or group of WR's in the game. To say the D struggled is an under-statement. They did however have some good plays in the second half and actually did considerably better.

As for the O, there is no doubt that they will score on ANY D in the league. Brees showed that he is nore than ready to improve his numbers from last year. Sproles more than replaces Bush. Ingram, despite the last play, runs hard and made a number of great plays. This team is very formidable.

The D will eventually tighten up and this O can't get much better. We will be fine. This lost hurts but it is only 1 game.

If some Saints players had made a better play on the football field the Saints could have won it. Bad timing on some open pass plays. Or failing to intercept the ball when we had a chance to do so ultimately cost them the game. The Saints players looked like they were having a hard time catching their balance on a number of plays that they were trying to make. I think that playing away from home had them upset for some crazy reason. You would think that Pro football players would not let playing a football game away from home would get to them that much but that's what it looked like to me. The Saints could have, with better timing, made that game come out a lot different. Grown men acting home sick. I swear!

I know what I say earlier is quite harsh, and some Saints fans will be even more harsh but I do welcome the Saints players home and will cheer them on in the rest of their games. They lost, yes, but what is one loss if they go on to win most of the games they play this season?
