Well, we fans can do something.

We can stay away from game threads not started by me.

No he wasn't. He was down by contact immediately. If he was out of bounds he was out of bounds when he caught it. It was a blown call.

this squad isn't winning the superbowl, or competing for it. I'm not going to give up my fandom but I'm lowering my expectations considerably.

Saints management needs to have a real conversation about this defense and the coaching staff assigned to it. This defense may be good but it's giving up way too many game winning drives, think @new England and a couple others last year I can't remember, and then @Atlanta and today. The only reason it didn't happen at Philly is that we got the ball and ran it down to the last second. A pattern is forming....

Thx. Note we were still hanging on when this rant occurred. Still over 2 minutes to go. Sean knew what was coming

It's not Ryan's fault. Gregg Williams had the same problems with this unit. He had to blitz the frick out of offenses just to get any kind of results. Payton is at fault more than anyone. He has screwed us with his play calling. His inability to recognize and stay with what works lost us the game. He refuses to consistently run. They hadn't stopped us from rushing all game yet he gets cute with the pass like always. He keeps killing momentum and it was clear in the Saints last drive in the game.

First time I have ever asked "coach...why did you stop feeding MI the ball?"
