Saints 2017 Draft Analysis

Special Report Scott here ready to tackle the mysterious draft waiting to happen for the New Orleans Saints. I believe that the Saints are going to make a HUGE splash in trades this off-season and getting a first round pick is coming their way. So you have the Saints sitting at R1P15 with their original pick. But I can see them trading away Brandin Cooks and Jarius Byrd to the Bengals for Tyler Boyd and their 1st round draft pick.
So with projected picks at 6 and 15, the Saints can get younger and fill big holes in the defense. So with the 6th pick I project the Saints to draft Reuben Foster LB (Ala). James Laurinaitis is just too old to run a defense and Foster can come in with his Saban mindset and run the Big Easy. With the 15th pick I see the Saints selecting Teez Tabor CB (Fla). Tabor shows his Honeybager skills with his play making ability at CB. Something that the Saints need opposite of Breaux.
With these moves, the saints defense just got 10x better and younger. With that, this has been a Special Report with Scott

Saints are not picking at 15
Nobody is putting a 1st in a trade with Byrd as a returning piece
Not a big fan of your draft(although there are worse ways to go)

I Like Reuben, but in this fairyland dream world there is way too many options to lock on to. this leads me to believe the Saints frick up and draft a project player with high character and a good motor. #nodirection

Trade Cooks for a 1st, somebody will bite on that. Your have to get him out if here there is no place for that on this team if you want to build a winner. He is selfish and jealous, he goes down on first contact yet whines about not getting the ball.

You're getting a 1st round pick for Brandin Cooks and Jarius Byrd.... maybe throw in a late round pick to make the trade even out.

This is clearly one of the few insightful and actually possible scenarios on this website. I mean seriously, James Laurenitis???? Cut that dude already!!!! Also, I think we could get a 1st AND 2nd round pick for Jarius Byrd; that dude is beastmode!!!
