It just isn't happening.

Byrd has an 11+ million dollar cap hit next season

Cooks is on the final year of his 4 year original rookie contract + there is a team option that would require being exercised and that option is not really cheap.

So you would trade away 2 separate assets, 3 more years of cheap WR labor, and a 4-5 year 1st round pick that could be anywhere from solid pro to HOF'er

in return you get 1 year of good value WR on the verge of massive pay increases in back to back years + an average at best/past his prime Safety that carries a significant cap figure.
