Who Dat

Expectations were obviously high for the Saints to start with. But they have exceeded them so far by proving they can win with different styles during a brutal three-game stretch (come-from-behind slugfests at Baltimore and at Minnesota, then a 45-35 track meet at home against the Rams). It helps that Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas are putting together one of the best "triplets" seasons in NFL history. -- Mike Triplett

Sweet.
We keep this up, and we'll get Bama at home.

Power rankings are for ESPN ratings, they're as meaningless as Minnesota's miracle last year...

Don't think Bridgewater/Hill can win the last game?

Ryan Clark says even though we beat the Rams, them losing to us was more impressive therefore he is keeping them at #1.

This. I trust our backups more than many of the starters in the league right now.

RC is on the same level as MJD when it comes to the Saints. It's actually kinda sad but expected from him. The media DESPERATELY wants the Rams to get to the NFC championship and Superbowl because of the trendiness they carry.

An entire roster of rentals and big name players, they're expected to be destroying everyone and when they don't, it's because 1 player (Talib) is out. Also, the ol' "Saints can't win on the road" BS is out in full force.

At the end of the day, us likely having to beat the Rams on their home field is what its going to come down to.

I love Ryan Clark as an LA native, but dude has been hit in the head far too many times if that’s his reasoning

Are they forgetting we went on the road in back to back weeks and beat the ravens and Minnesota?

For the rams to come back down 21 to tie it showed people they will slugfest you all game even away.

Thats why some people are still enamored with them.

He clearly said we’re #1, why are you spewing incorrect information?

And did anyone else bother to listen to the video linked or just took this guys word for it?

You are wrong. He said we were number one, then threw a pie on the floor and said Rams are still number one because they came back and made it a game after being down 21.

I try hard not to pay attention to the media narratives and all that, but when I had on nfl network yesterday, they showed the highlights, then after, the only story that they talked about was that the rams lost
