Apparently Denver is in the hook for his bonus money and Wilson can sign a league minimum deal after June I believe. This is according to an article in the Athletic.

Sean Payton made Jameis Winston a serviceable starter before injuries. He couldn’t do anything with Russell Wilson. No reason to bring him to New Orleans.
