There's a clear distinction here though. It's one thing to say - you get 500$ for a special teams tackle. It's a whole different deal to say - you get 500$ for knocking a QB out of the game. Those are 2 different things - one is over the line...
So, it would be acceptable to receive $500 for a special teams tackle, even if it knocks someone out of a game, as long as you do not state that? Would it be OK, then, to receive $500 for tackling a QB if he were not knocked from the game? Talk about your oxymoron's.

Dude, read what you wrote here - again. does that really sound like zero tolerance to you? Does Zero Tolerance mean you get a second chance. When it comes to player safety how do get a second chance? Are you beginning to see the picture now? Do you STILL honestly believe Goodell's concern is truly and foremost player safety?

yeah, this point has been well established.
Goodell is all about the money. He talks about player safety because the NFL keeps getting sued by former players. He also is pushing for an 18 game season, what a joke. There will also be a Thursday night game each week now I believe. Sure, the players will have extra time to prepare for the next game after the thursday game but what about the short break before it? The Thursday games usually suck IMO. I hope we don't draw any of those games this year.

Not really. Payton and crew are being punished for lying. The players are going to get slaps on the wrists for taking part in the bounties.

And you think your objective?! LOL I guess buying the company line hook line and sinker makes you objective. But you can suspend Payton for 8 games and it would be just as strong of a deterrent and a very significant punishment for Payton. I have yet to hear from you a reason why a year suspension for Payton is justifiable. Youre a disgrace to saints fans. But seriously, you'd fit in very well on the falcons board with all those delusional morons.
