Want to blame the correct people? Blame your OL and DL coaches. They have been the absolute worst parts of our team all year. One can't generate a pass rush up the gut worth a damn. The other can't handle a pass rush up the middle worth a damn.

Im not blaming one group, im saying the team as a whole is stinking it up yet some ppl just want to blame the defense. Funny part is, the same guys on here talking bad about the D are the same ones starting threads saying how Cooks,Ingram and other offensive players are scrubs and other ppl should have been drafted instead. Oh the irony

I meant it as a general comment. I think it's hilarious that people want to keep blaming rob Ryan for the shite storm.

about the only thing that i'll show some compassion for is that we haven't had our best LB's on the field in a few weeks now.

and when the season started the secondary wasn't all there. Not that they are world beaters anyway but whatever.

the player personnel isn't where it needs to be and the guys we do have never seem to completely healthy as a group at different spots on defense.

but it starts with coaching and they are the ones who decided to flip half our roster mainly because of salary cap problems.

oh.

well shite.

nevermind then.

27-14 at the half, I wouldn't call that "showed up"

The redskins had the ball the entire first quarter. I'd consider 14 pts/half showing up.

And despite how well the offense played early on, it was still 21-14. The offense has been just as much at fault in most of the losses

This was not one of those days. After a few promising games, the last 3 weeks are probably the worst defense in nfl history

Guys, it is obvious that the defense quit on Ryan yesterday. I did not see him go over and talk to anyone. He just stood there, looking at his play sheet. When players aren't listening to a coach, you have to fire him. Also, coordinators who give up 14 passing TDs in 3 weeks MUST go!

I'm not sure Wtf the offense sucking has to do with the defense being historically terrible.

So we have two problems, what do we do? Are we just gonna sit here and not do shite bc making moves on one side of the ball doesn't acknowledge how bad the other side of the ball is.

This is the dumbest argument to defend ryan possible.

We literally have a bunch of inexperienced misfits in our front 7 and ppl expect Rob to make them a top performing Def.

Definitely isn't the answer, but he's far from the only problem. Need to wipe the whole damn defensive coaching.

Such a crock of BS to target Ryan. Payton needs to fire all the coaches on that side of the ball. Doesn't he get a clue. Williams, Spags, now Ryan....while Vitt, Johnson, McGriff are all getting a pass? WTF? Payton needs to come up for a breath of air from between Ms. Greenbriar's legs.

If the position coaches aren't the problem, why are Jenkins, Harper, White, and all other previous defensive players who have gone on to other teams doing reasonably well/ flourishing under other coaches?

We're desperately in need of a Head Coach. Payton is a shitty head coach right now. Any offensive coordinator accolades do not offset how shitty of a head coach he is at this moment.

The penalties, the lack of team preparedness, the stale gameplaning. It all falls on the Head Coach. And that's Payton.
