Think this is being overblown a bit. It's Monday night, I don't know if maybe he expects us to be partying 24/7 here or something. However, I didn't get the sense that he "hates" Nola from the tweet.

moneyg nailed it. No one cares if he called NOLA boring or even if he actually said he hated the city. But the fact that he can't stop smoking weed or keep his pie hole shut for the most critical few weeks of his life is pretty telling.

He's in town with the Saints FO for what amounts to a job interview. This is his chance to show his employers that he's serious about his career and the drug test was an outlier- a momentary lapse and not who he really is. So don't get on social media and blare to the world, "I don't get what the big deal about NOLA is. Seems pretty boring." He comes off as a) someone who is still concerned about partying and b) a bit of an immature dick for putting down the city where he's interviewing.

Maybe....but its a dumb arse thing to say in general.

If he was smart he would talk about how much he loves every damn city that has an NFL team in it.

Pretty much. Or if he was smart, he'd say something like the city is attractive, but the night life is not something I want to indulge myself in. It might not be great, but I'm here to play, and the city doesn't matter if it's great or bad, I just want to play and be the best.

Can you imagine going into an interview where you would have to be relocated and telling them that the city is boring?

I think you're looking into his tweet a tad too much... The dude took a 10 minute walk to McDonald's and didn't see any parades or jazz bands. I doubt he went out looking to get shite faced.

I agree. It sounded more tongue-in-cheek than a diss.

However, he's been "playing" on twitter with Saints fans all day. Last guy to be on twitter like that was Junior and that didn't turn out well.

Maybe he couldn't find any dope. Not every place can be as exciting as Lincoln , Nebraska. Forget this guy and draft L'ael Collins.

He retweeted a tweet about saying he would love the saints to draft him.

He's ours!

Everyone's opinion will change if the Saints draft him. Then he will be the greatest thing since sliced bread. I agree it probably wasn't the best thing to put out on twitter in a city your visiting for a job interview, but not everyone has the best common sense.

Someone told him, "we only have one championship, its time for another". He responded, "i could help a little".
