No matter how you slice it, that trade was good for this team. Jimmy could get 1500 yards and 20 touchdowns this year and it was a good trade.

You think the OL looked bad today? Imagine that with Kelemente at LG and Lelito at Center. Brees would be in an ambulence.

Hawthorne is still consistently getting torched. Can you imagine how bad it would be if he was trying to play the primary MLB role like Anthony is? Anthony has whiffed on a few, but he has made just as many good plays.

This team had the same problem finding weapons down the field last season, WITH Jimmy Graham. The problem is that we do not have weapons on the outside who can challenge corners and make the safeties play deep. Thus the middle of the field is covered... no TE short of Rob Gronkowski is going to beat DBs over the middle consistently.

Seriously, put it to rest. This was a good trade.

That has paid no dividends.

It was a bad trade . Period. Best TE in franchise history and you traded him .

We are 0-2 with a mediocre defense, a patchwork OL and no outside weapons.

We COULD be 0-2 with a terrible defense, no OL, and no outside weapons. Brees would be a corpse without Unger right now.

We're in a better place than we would have been. That is payment enough for me.

The defense isn't actually good.

Did he not just take a beating where he could barely throw the ball 30 yards at the end of the game?

What was our record last year? Not a bad trade. Just bad decisions on personnel since. Young team now.

If half your players are shitty being young isn't such a plus. Anthony and Kihaha are young players with bright futures. Other dudes might just be young.

And it would be a whole lot worse without Anthony in the middle... Obviously.

He walked off the field on his own two feet. Would not be the case with last year's OL -Grubbs +Kelemente

Terrible drafts are why we suck. Taking projects early and trading draft picks away.

In fairness to everybody, you neglected to mention your ability to visit parallel universes.

we have had some absolutely atrocious drafts lately.

the free agent signings have not been much better.

it's destroying this team.

#Saints Drew Brees confirms it was shoulder that was bothering him during the game. But said he's not concerned...

Seahawks couldn't beat the Rams with him.

The same Rams team manhandled by a bad Redskins team today.

Since we're playing what if, that's what is.

The Graham and Stills trade were good trades for Saints. Problem is Saints did nothing to try and replace them
