We used to have the black pants with the gold stripe (Ditka era) and they looked like true shite.
But I realize most people on this board weren't fans during the Ditka era.

It's a nod to the rugby jerseys from which the sport came. You know Goodell, and honoring tradition... wait... he destroys trad--... Great. Now I'm all mixed up.

Ditka era? Lol. We had those stripes on pants in the bum Phillips era also. And probably before that with dick nolan and other coaches. My first games in person were under bum. Jim mora was the one to shitcan the road black pants and home white pants and switch to all gold pants.
