Pretty good 5 round mock draft from the San Diego Union-Tribune

This guy seems to have a good grasp of what the Saints will be looking for in the draft.
He has us taking:
1. Sheldon Rankins DT
2. Shilique Calhoun DE
3. Sebastian Trelola OG
4. Scooby Wright ILB
5. Tajae Sharpe WR

I do the first-pick draft simulator once every few days and I swear I've made those top 3 picks 4 or 5 times. Trelola would be a competent starter for us as a rookie and Rankins/Calhoun would give us a potentially lethal DL within a year or two. Calhoun is my 2nd favorite DE in this draft behind Ogbah (Bosa included, Buckner excluded if you want to count him).
That DL duo would also be great in passing situations. Could move Cam inside with Rankins + Calhoun/Kikaha on the outside. It's a very possible draft duo, but it would be too perfect to ever actually happen.

Very solid and reasonably realistic draft.
Guard is absolutely loaded this draft and I could easily see tretola/Kirkland/McGovern there in the 4th
WR has a bunch of nice mid round guys

Scooby Wright is a tough, throwback type LB. This team needs toughness, I like this pick.

did you look at the link? Debo goes a couple of picks AFTER ours in the 3rd...
now, both you and i know Debo won't be there IRL, but i was commenting on the fact that in his mock, Debo was there for us to take in the 3rd and he has us taking someone else....
and no, the draft doesn't look realistic at all.... several guys have moved up the boards that he still has grades too far low on..... Debo being one of them...

Yes I did, he won't be there IRL so the draft looks realistic-ish in that sense we won't get Debo in the 3rd.
