Please tell me how we are going to do this because I don't see it. I realize it is only pre-season but one sack with none by starters is not a good sign.

I think we can stop the run but with no pressure from our front four opposing QB's are going to feast on secondary and everyone we be on here bitching about Corner backs, etc. But with current rules Tebow can pick you apart if he has 4-5 seconds to survey the field. That is too long for DB's to stay in coverage and think that is what we are going to be asking them to do. Then we have pressure on Drew to score every drive.

Or we have to get blitz happy and will live and die by the blitz. (I would rather go this way, at least we have a chance)

I hope I am wrong and I missed something but this looks like a 6-8 win team so far. I look forward to coming back and eating a bunch a crow. Somebody point out what I am missing

The time til throw against us for preseason was so low that it would have set an NFL record

So this preseason couldn't really tell you anything about it

No team should be able to run on us if our starting dine reads as the following: hicks, jenkins, williams, Jordan. That's basically 4 dts. We should be running a 3-4 base with jenkins at the nose and hicks and Jordan as the ends. A 3-4 defense gives you much more blitzing options.

Same as last year and preseason this year, if the secondary and LBs could cover for more than three seconds (hell even three seconds would be impressive at this point), maybe we would have time to get home.

Last year any corner not named Lewis, Lofton, and Hawthorne were to blame (seriously we gave up the most yards to backs by a wide margin).

With the injuries at CB in the preseason plus having rookie LBs out there learning I'm not surprised it looked like last year.

I think we saw Kikaha and Tull can definitely get home quick but they still need more than two and a half seconds. Plus Jordan and Hicks will actually be playing.

Luckily for us, the Cardinals are down 2 OL with injuries and another with a 2 game suspension, and Carson Palmer is a QB that likes to take his sweet arse time. I don't recall him being that great under pressure either, at least when he has played us in the past. Other than Week 1, there is a serious question mark with regards to our pass rush. I mean, we couldn't even get a pass rush against Atlanta's bum arse Oline last season. Unless those rookies and new FAs can put in work, our DBs will be in for another long season.

Losing Galette was huge. We need Hicks to play like a man
