Yep. I hope they keep it this way. He has a knack for it, and it's what we did in 2011.

If the offense is succesful under him this year I think he really gets a look at HC next year somewhere. He will finally get from under Sean's shadow.

I'm not quite sure he's head coach material. I can't say for sure.

He's applied a few times. Really loves this place, so maybe he stays since he'll be calling the offense. I had to reset my phone so I lost my contats can't congratulate him..agghh

The rule is never hire the OC of a successful team who runs the same side of the ball as the head coach. Knowing Payton's offensive prowess, how much can anyone know what % of it is really Carmichael's own?
