Alright guys, I figured since we are halfway through the regular season I would post the cumulative stats for the team this week. I am also including some extra info that I normally do not - mostly because it is stuff that isn't fully relevant without a large sample size, or because it isn't that important on a week-to-week basis.

I will also take requests for specific information in this thread (such as where a certain player ranks among their peers, etc), so feel free to post them here.

Cam Jordan may be worth his contract AND Junior's dead money.

He's been unreal.

I remember him getting some unwarranted crap on here earlier this year. His bull rush may be the best in the nfl

And Brandon Browner may be worth a decade old Lucky Dog.

JJ Watt is the only defender that is anywhere near him in cumulative pass rush score. Watt has +30.3, Jordan +28.4. The next best is Cam Wake at +19.8 (RIP)

He always has.

I think he was probably dealing with a nagging injury to start out the season.
But he's been solid lately.

He had one of the worst games I've seen from an OT against TB. Otherwise he's been OK.

as long as you don't peak at his pass blocking numbers, he has. He's strong in the run game.

ALso Ben Watson's run blocking is pretty shocking, when that was supposed to be his strong suit.

Strief did get Brees hurt against Tampa. Lookout blocks are unacceptable. He has improved, though.

He's given up 10 QB hurries(2nd only to Lelito's 11), 6 sacks(next closest is 3), and has the most penalties on our offense. Id say he's earned any back lash.

How does Cam's overall rating compare to the league's best? It's gotta be top 5

He is #2, behind only JJ Watt (+42.1).

There are only 4 players above +30 .. Jordan, Watt, Carson Palmer and Khalil Mack.

Notable thing that skews this: Some teams have had byes and some have not. These stats are volume based (which is why PFF is moving on to cumulative grades 0-100 in a school-grade style after this year).

Ok thanks. Cam needs to keep this up and hopefully gets a little more help from the other guys so that the sacks can just pour in

Actually you're right. He needs to do a little better job in pass protection. At least he's still doing a respectable job in the grand scheme of things and is still a good RT.
