If we waste those picks on those positions, we will be pretty weak at the 4th and 5th offensive tackle spots.

Lets pick up a WR in the 5-7.

We got our stud receiver in Cooks last year. With Brees and Payton, its plug and play with everyone else. Undervalued receivers are a huge payoff in our system

Im hoping for a wide out with our 2. Seems like an obvious drop off in wr talent from round 2 to 3. I think most of the wr drafted today, apart from cooper, are only marginally better then the ones that will go tomorrow.

Nah. Might as well just stock up on depth for the future rather than positions we actually need. Seems like a legit plan.

I like him. I think we could have gotten him at 44 but he's still a great pick. I'm just not able to be happy about it because I'm still seeing red over this Peat pick.

Can't guarantee that though

We saw a run tonight on a position and it could happen again.

They got their man

As it sits they are all positions of need so how is that a waste? I agree that DT could be upgraded, but so can our pass rush, WR, & G....We still do have Jenkins & Bunkley, and can get a Derrick Lott or Joey Mbu later in the draft also....Just depends on how the front office has the players later in draft rank, if they feel 6th & 7th WR's are better than DT's, then DT will likely be picked earlier and vice versa

I'd like Eli Harold or Devin Smith at out next pick. Really wanted Dupree at 13, but I also really wanted Jarvis Jones a few years ago. How'd that work out?
