I'd give the Bucs a chance here.

In 2008 the Saints went 8-8, Brees threw for 5K yards, Payton was on the hot seat, and we had a new president. The next year we won a Superbowl. In 2016 the Saints went 7-9, Brees threw for 5K, Payton was on the hot seat, and we have a new president. So basically, we have a chance.

Yeah, the Bucs haven't won the division since 2007, I think they are more due than the Saints. Regardless, though, it will be really tough to win the NFC South in 2017 or 2018. The Falcons seem to be in really great shape to remain very good for some time. The Panthers will likely improve next year, hell they were 15-1 a season ago. Then finally the Bucs seam to be getting better every year with a very young squad.

If Payton wasn't such an idiot and run the ball to be balanced we would be nine and seven at least this year

There was a hint of sarcasm in there when i made the post. Tho this team isn't that far off if the right moves can be made.

Who knows really. I mean look at Atlanta. They were 8-8 last year. Can't remember my feeling after the 2008 season, but I remember going to the first day of Training Camp in 2009 and Brees shredded the newly hired Gregg Williams defense. I went home thinking, "welp... more of the same." Went back the next day and Brees was awful lol. If we have a solid draft, sign some quality FAs, and hit a few homers with these position hires, the hype around the team going into 17 will be high. If we can be a little lucky on the health side for once as well going into the reg season that would be huge too. We start out 1 or 2-0.... you can go ahead and #PrintTheShirts
