Chris Ivory is one I truly regret. I couldn't care less about Jimmy, Sproles, and others.

I know what you are saying, he has a certain element of explosiveness that Hightower doesn't give. I still prefer consistent yardage and health from my running back though.

He had a great game against the chiefs last week but he has only played in 6 games this year. In and out for various reasons. He will likely always have issues with injuries because of his violent style of running but I give him an A for effort.

His injury this year likely came from hitting too hard, but not on the football field.

But one significant injury in he last 4 seasons is pretty durable for a RB. Unfortunately, he never showed the ability to stay healthy here.

If Ivory was healthy or could show prolonged health, then sure I would love to still have him on the team. He runs like an angry man. I love watching him play, but that style of play is also why he constantly gets hurt.

The guy that I have more sellers remorse over now and who, at the time that we moved on from him I thought it was a good move for us, is Jenkins. I still maintain that he had every opportunity to succeed here and he just could not put it together. The lack of turnovers (he had several that bounced off his hands) was the driving factor for me. It is sad to see him do it with another team, but I am happy for him and excited to see Bell's development.

From what I remember he always had nagging injuries and was not our every down RB (should have been, but he was behind Ingram & PT in a system that does not run the ball often) and Robertson looked promising. Plus he wanted to be paid what he was worth and the Saints did not value him as our 3rd RB.

I blame the RB coach & OC (Payton) for not seeing the value, but I am not upset bc Robertson was looking great at the time.

Carl Nicks,

/Thread

ETA:

Also as a fantasy holder of Ivory both this season and last season. His injuries are still the same. He plays 2 games, misses 2, plays 2 games, misses 1. With the jets, he could never secure the job, and their backfield was and is still terrible, last few weeks forte is starting to come alive, but we'll see. There's a reason he's on yet another team post saints now. Don't have an issue with the saints move on this one, but successful teams don't usually invest assets in someone that unreliable.

And before someone comes at me with GP stat, look at the amount of work he got in some of the "GP". Just because the guy suits up, gets 2 carries, and then rides the bench for the rest of the game because he isn't healthy enough, shouldn't be used as evidence to the contrary.
