Start with Benson, Loomis, and Payton and work down to clean house. Hell, throw in the janitorial staff as well.

Total rebuild from scratch. (except keep Brees)

Revolution. Fans storm the facility, take out Benson, and institute a Green Bay-style ownership.

Best hope is that Benson has agreement to sell to Mannings when he expires - we are fricked if any of that family (including Gayle) retains control

Wish he would sell the team to local investors but since that won't happen make him a figurehead and convince him to hire a legit GM who knows what the hell they're doing.

That's cute. You're one of those tards that thinks the manning family has enough money to sniff nfl ownership. Even if they did, frick that entire family

Any suggestions? Got a couple billion lying around to buy the team and pay everybody?

If the team is sold, they leave. Nobody around here has that money.

They'll offer him the team and Archie will demand that they sell the Giants to him instead.

The Mannings have assets and relationships/partners (John Schnatter) that could easily exceed $2 to $3 billion - especially to purchase an NFL and NBA franchise that would likely come with ownership of Class A office buildings and pseudo-ownership of a $500 mm stadium that comes with state subsidies.

I highly doubt Benson knows what's going on. And that's the root cause of all the problems.

What has anyone seen from the Mannings that would indicate he wants anything to do with the Saints?

shite is not happening

Peyton played for Elway for the last few seasons and has seen the ideal role for a former NFL QB. Elway has a better life / job than any former NFL'er. He can have that and more if he owns his hometown NFL franchise. It's not outlandish - I'd saw that Peyton / Archie / Cooper / etc. will definitely be suitors for the Saints and/or Pelicans when they come up for sale.
