How awesome is it that this thread was not posted until Feb.? As opposed to Jan. or even Dec. like in years passed

I like Hernandez from UF if we take a TE. Guy looked really good this year

He sure isn't much of a blocker though.

No but i think we could work him in a rotation. He could play Billy Miller's role if the Saints dont keep him.

Head over to www.drafttek.com and check out their draft simulator for 2010. Pretty cool. I ran a simulation after adjusting offensive and defensive needs, plus generating a grab-and-lock out list of players. Here were the results:

Run #1
1. Jerry Hughes, OLB TCU
2. Lamarr Houston, DT Texas
3. Donovan Warren, CB Mich
4. D'Anthony Smith, DT LaTech
6. Kevin Basped, DE Nevada
7. Keiland Williams, RB LSU

Run #2
1. Brian Price, DT UCLA
2. Greg Hardy, DE Miss
3. George Selvie, OLB USF
4. LeGarrette Blount, RB Oregon
6. Antonio Coleman, OLB, Auburn
7. Al Woods, DT LSU

I think the 2nd round is most likely for him.

Hughes would only work in a 3-4 scheme. Weatherspoon will be gone by the time the Saints pick.

I have no idea who Payton and Loomis will target, nor who will be available. I didn't make those picks btw, the simulator did. However, after watching Greg Williams employ that 3-3-5 defense in the SB, a Jerry Hughes or George Selvie at OLB could be deadly. Plus, if Bobby Mccray can play DE for us, these guys could too. Versatility kills.

What about the South Carolina LB Norwood or is he MLB? I keep wanting to say he's outside.
