I don't see a reason why we shouldn't be able to stop the Eagles. There offense didn't put up many yds against the Panthers (267) and most of those were rushing (185 and we can stop the run.) Also, the Eagles defense held the Panthers to 169 yds, but that has alot to do with Delhomme throwing ints and being pressured. They were unable to get a running game going because they couldn't throw the ball to get respect. Won't happen with Brees!

Of course I didn't watch the game.

The Eagles did some crazy things against the Panthers. On a few plays, they had 4 DEs in the game at one time. CBs were lining up on the line of scrimmage. Poor Jake didn't know whether to shite, or go blind...he went blind. Brees has 20/20 vision.

I think Bush and Shockey shine against the Eagles. As others have said, Brees will have to release the ball even faster than he normally does and Bush and Shockey will be the beneficiaries. Colston and Moore will be the go to guys when the WRs are targets; they have proven they can catch the ball over the middle...again, the short passing game will be the order of the day.

Bell will be the ball hog again. If Brees can back off the LBs with successful screens and short stuff, I can see Bell getting 70-80 yards rushing.

Defense: If Williams has a can of "Whoop arse Blitzes", this would be a good time to open it.
McNabb, Kolb, Garcia, it doesn't matter. It's somewhat difficult to get the ball to Jackson when you're on your back.

I honestly think our punter can contain Jackson with his hangtime and clutch punts. As far as kickoffs he also has the ability to force touchbacks. soooo... throw the eagles special teams out the window cuz I bet the saints won't gamble with it.

Kolb will get the start and it will be the westbrook show.. lots of screens. I hope our over eager line doesn't get beat by it. But Our LB's and hard hitting Harper could still comtain it. By the half Garcia will be in and the deep routes will go into effect. Bobby McCray time!

Our defense will do their job but nothing spectacular. I am willing to bet they stay away from Sharper and pick on porter.

Our offense will use the wrecking bell plenty and dominate in time of possesion. Brees will get 2 TD's but I think our running game and dump passes to Moore will be key.

Roby, Bush, and Meachem are gonna shine for special teams.

Just dont give Kolb a short field with turnovers and poor special team plays. Make him drive the whole field to score.

I expect to see Garcia by the second half.

I think if McNabb is for sure not playing we win by a TD. Saints 24 Eagles 17. Ill take 3-0 because we all know how the Saints struggle to win on the road.

I'm still working on my score. With adono though, I think the underneath passing game will be BIG- Shockey and Bush. They will cover over the top for the bombs. Their top notch corners are solid, physical, ballhawks. Guessing an easing back in for PT and ride Bell as long as he is hot.

Defense should be an all out stop the run and dump passes... force the challenge at Mr. Klob to see what he has.

ST improvement is a must, we'll see with Roby & Usama back. Morstead could be a very big weapon in shutting out Desean Jackson.
