Will get to the score later, one thing I know stronger than a prediction- Saints win and the press will lead with "cuz McNabb was out". Have you heard the media chatter? "Saints still can't stop anyone." (?) That shows how shallow the reporting and insight is. The D was actually good overall. Special teams and miscues is why Detroit had more than 13. Longer term prediction: Saints 3-1 or 4-0 still won't get props and when NYG come to town they will be saying "NOW, we'll find out if they are legit".

I agree blueslover - Philly always gets hyped.

Saints 35 - 10 (they have no QB - hope Vick enjoys watching the game from the pressbox!)

Out of all the positive and negative things in the game.. T

he biggest stat is not that Drew had 6 TD's but the D held Kevin Smith to 20 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.

I almost this morning after she said that crap. She obviously didn't watch or hear the game, nor did she check the D's stats before opening her mouth!!

Who will start? Kolb? It's not like he's completely worthless.

I expect the Saints to win but I don't think it's going to be a run away by any means.

I gave them a chance even before McNabb was out. I seriously saw things with the Saints yesterday that I've never seen before on defense. I do believe this is the first time I've ever had confidence in the defense since Jackson/Swilling/Mills.

I had this one checked off as a loss before yesterday. Now that McNabb's out I think they can get the "W". That's assuming they make some kind of improvement on special teams and Reggie sees a minimum of touches. The Eagle's offense was unspectacular yesterday. It was their D that lit it up. They spent the afternoon crawling up Delhome's arse.

I would normally have a problem with this comment, but this game will be a perfect opp for Reggie to shine. Dreww will have to get rid of the ball early, and Reggie should get the ball in space.

I forsee Reggie leading the league in fumbles instead of TDs after Week 2.

I hope not! I have had a stomach full of Reggie, but I'm thinking that we use him when the situation calls for it. Defenses still scheme against him and are aware of where he is, so he still has value.

I had the Eagles picked to win this one, but now with McNabb out, it looks like it might be a close one. Saints by 3.

if the running game can be close to this past week, we have too much talent at the receiver positions and with reggie able to catch the short passes, we should put up 35 pts or more. i don't see philly putting up that many unless special tems or turnovers do us in. saints always make it interesting though! saints 42, philly 17
