No more hating on Vikings

They are and always have been a friend and ally to us, they opposed our attempted move to Houston and have had as much bad luck etc as we have.
They are another small market team, their coach is a no nonsense guru just like CSP. (And they are great friends) Our Super Bowl came at their exprense in OT. They pulled for us in Super Bowl and I remember them wishing us luck.
They don’t trust that POS Goodell anymore than we do. They got lucky and you need luck to win the Super Bowl. All of us small market teams need to stick together.
All this Viking hate needs to stop, save it for the Falcons, Panthers and Pats.
I want their fluke win to mean something so I want them to win it all, Zimmer is a good guy, their fans are good people for most part. Their recognition of the effort of our punter is only one example. CSP responding to the ad by giving 25 k to charity for children hospital in Minnesota is good example of the kinship. Anybody but the fricking Patriots.

Not his job - he's the HC and OFFENSIVE playcaller. Dennis Allen is paid to run the defense, and he royally screwed the pooch. The national media finally picked up on the fact that there was a guy standing on the logo doing nothing.
But I agree with the OP - also Zimmer has almost lost his eyesight because of a detached retina caused by his playsheet blowing into his eye. Had to have like 5 procedures because it wouldn't stop detaching. That's some scary shite.

I think this is a case of not hating the team but despising their cry baby fans. It’s like with the Bears. Their team wasn’t an issue but their PoS fans were. That is why I don’t go for them ever unless it directly benefits the Saints.
I’ll hold my nose and pull for Philly but will go for whatever AFC team is in the Super Bowl if I even watch it.

this board would have been livid and had similar reactions as Vikings fans did if the roles were reversed in the 2009 NFCCG.

Every team needs that signature playoff moment. For the Saints you can argue it was the Tracy Porter pick-6 in the Super Bowl or the Favre INT or maybe even the onsides kick. In recent memory the Malcolm Jenkins INT, the David Tyree catch, the Titans coming up 1 yard short.
Minnesota has that moment now. I was unbelievably disappointed it came against my favorite team but fans of all teams (except the Falcons and Cam Newton) should have that memory. Reverse the roles and imagine how nuts you would have been going if that had been Michael Thomas catching the improbably game winner. Again not saying I’m happy for Minnesota but having a few friends of mine who are Vikings fans - they have that moment.
