Oakland and Dallas are the only ones I have a real issue with. The other's are fair.

Show me the highlight of him being elusive against NFL players. I'll wait. You can see in that video he doesn't change direction quickly. He runs almost robotically. He's a great player, but his "elusiveness" has nothing to do with it

Not really concerned what some talking head thinks.

So we were 1st in yards, second in scoring, then with the additions you think it is falling back? Great logic.

Probably put us 6th so they didn't have to write anything up on Saints...that or they didn't know enough about the team. Saints finished top 5 in like what, every year under Payton's era?

Not every year, but we haven't been outside of the top 5 for offensive yards since 2010. That year we were 6th. We have been outside of the top 5 for points though more regularly, but we still have a good share of top 3 or so finishes for points too.

Yes every year. See my post on the first page.

7 years first in yards, 1 second place, 1 third place, and 2 fifth places.

Points is where we've been more manic, though never out of the top 12 and we've been top 6 seven out of eleven years.

You can say something all you want. It doesn't change the fact that the Saints were ranked 6th in total offensive yards in 2010.

But I'm sure your post on the first page is more reliable than the statistics kept by the NFL.

6th isn't exactly a slap in the face. Brady missed 4 games and they finished 3rd. Steelers get Tavis back and Bell missed 4 games. Falcons were #1 last season in PPG. Raiders and Cowboys have young QB's that should improve. I do think that we finish in the 5-8 range, but we're going to eat up a shitload of clock and be REALLY efficient. I see Brees passing for "only" 4700ish yards and 35-38TDs, but flirting with his career high 110 QBR. I think the offense we run will bump our defense up a few spots, regardless of improvement in play.

Steelers have Big Ben. Best wr and best running back in game. Take your fricking saints goggles off and realize they have good offense regardless of their record. Yea wait, shouldn't saints fans realize more to game than just offense. Dumb arse people in this world

I'm not sure the last part of your statement is English but I do recognize the Steelers have a great O. I'm mostly kidding. But the fact of the matter is the Saints were 2nd in PPG, 1st in yards, and they upgraded their offense significantly this offseason by adding a tackle and grabbing a desperately needed stud 3rd down RB. So yeah, it's kinda stupid to say they should be down there at 6th. Not that it fricking matters. I was just sharing yet another instance of the national media dissing the Saints.

Yes, the Pats/Steelers have a lot of weapons. But this could be one of the better Saints offenses in franchise history, just lol at you if you think they will be anywhere near the 6th best in the league.

That is my bad. I used another website (nfl.com doesn't work on my phone) and it had them off by one spot a few years.

Point still being we've finished top 5 every year but one, and that one we finished 6th.

If going by yards we very likely are in the top 5.

Points is a different story.

You missed a few.

Offensive subtractions:
Cooks
Hightower
Evans
Lelito
McCown

Offensive additions:
Ginn
Peterson
Warford
Ramcyzk
Kamara
Hooman (return from injury)
Lasco (return from injury; 13 offensive touches before injury)
Daniel
Potential UDFA or two.

Meh I was more saying it was weird to say 22nd when the lowest was 19th, but then again that was from that other website so it may be wrong also.

You were right. Either way, it's great news. I think this D can be 18th or better in points allowed pretty easily. Especially with our backfield chewing more clock

After checking espn (which takes forever on my phone and why I used the other website), it seems the other website was including the playoffs.

I was looking at per game totals though so it only made the offensive stats off by a spot or two. The defensive stats were mostly better.

Turns out the worst we finished in points given up and had a winning record was 20th.

So if our defense can be top 20 in points allowed we should make the playoffs.

Yea. Subtracting a really good wide receiver and adding an injury riddled back up running back, an offensive lineman to "maybe" replace strief, and a rookie running back equates to possibly having best saints offense ever. Yet you shite on teams with a lot and even more coming back. You wonder why nobody likes you?

I love the saints draft. We will be better than last year. But your arguments are terrible

1. Saints had a better offense than everyone on that list minus the Falcons. In fact, it was their best offense since 2011 ("best saints offense ever") at 29 ppg.

2. Saints replaced Cooks with Ginn, who's not Cooks, but is a very respectable replacement. So that's the only "downgrade"

3. Saints build what could be a dominant OL by adding Warford and Ramcyzyk. 2009 and 2011 offenses had great offensive lines, we haven't had anything comparable since. We could this year.

4. Add Alvin Kamara, a stud pass catching RB. We have been completely missing this element since Sproles. And our offense has never been as great as a result.

5. You're a fricking moron

If you're scared of orthopaedic surgery than the Steelers are pretty scary

The only way I can see us not being top 5 is if Michael Thomas has a sophomore slump. If he's as good as last year or better...we shouldn't have a problem.
