New New Orleans: How Bears GM Ryan Pace is using Saints blueprint

Despite 3 straight seasons of 7-9 Saints can still be a blueprint to follow. They even compare past/present Saints players to the Bears:

Well that trade for Trubisky was Ricky Williams ish. Still one of the dumbest draft moves ever done.

They actually gave up far less than other teams have in recent years.
Iirc it was pretty close to spot on what the trade value chart says it should have been, when most teams give up close to double what they should.
Now whether Tribusky will be worth a frick is another matter entirely. I was not sold on him being any better than a Bortles at best.
