Sounds familiar, but I can't place him.
he was a defensive lineman, just remember him because of the ridiculous collection of Saints games I have

Remember Tyrone Drakeford? Dude had a 9 inch neck! Looked like a bobble head.
I do. He ran back a fumble on the opening kickoff against the Panthers in the season opener in 1999. I remember thinking that was a sign of good things to come we won that game but things took a turn for the worse the next week in SF. that ended up being an awful year.

Don't think so. He'd be behind Graham and Thomas and end up on IR then cut.

Chris Naeole- might start
back up behind Evans and Grubbs.

Simply due to lack of DB depth.

Wayne Martin would be able to start on this current defense. Zaven Yaralian had some decent defenses in 1997 and 1998 I thought. The offense was just inept. 1999 was just a disaster though.

naw. Cleeland was good when healthy. our TE depth sucks on this team

Ricky Williams in his prime would definitely start.
Sure, he might get rotated in and out but I don't see anyone getting the job over a healthy top notch Ricky.

Brian Milne.
And now I go to check if he was on roster.
ETA: Crap, Haslett, not Ditka.

being that he's the 26th all time leading rusher, i don't see how you don't start him. he could be top 5-10 if he actually gave a shite.

1.) Not Obscure!
2.) Was under Jim Haslett, not Ditka.
Joe Morgan can't hold a candle to his preseason greatness!

I will always remember him for being part of perhaps the worst TD celebration ever - the WR leapfrog.
