He was awesome at times despite consistently being overweight & in Mora's dog house because of it.

Used to love Iron Head in Techmo bowl. Tacklers would bounce off most of the time.

Chris Berman would make all kinds of sound effects when he had a good run

Exactly.

If the Saints would've started in 1963.

Could you imagine having a young Taylor and Hornung.

My God.

While we're at it.

Jerry Kramer, Lance Allworth, Bob Hayes.

QB's. John Brodie, Bart Starr, Warren Moon, et al.

looking back I think Pierre has been my favorite. He was sort of the glue man in the offense when the O really started to take off I thought. Came on late in the '07 season and entrenched himself as a staple. Couldn't have done it without him.

Reggie could be an explosive player and i can't remember being happier on Draft Day since the Saints picked him. But being picked that high will usually screw you cause the expectations are so high.

Deuce would run real hard but could have a smoothness about his style that definitely set him apart IMO.

Ironhead and Dalton Hilliard were around when I first started watching the Saints and I always thought the world of them. But Ironhead ended up with the Falcons at one point and that bothered me

you could say the same for some others (like Morten) but free agency was way different back then. A lot of in-division swapping around it seemed like.

Ingram has been good I think but for whatever reason he just isn't as endearing as some of the other RB's over the years to me. No.. I'm not a LSU fan and I'm definitely no Bama fan either. I grew up in a state obsessed with college football but I watched more pro ball growing up. That's hard for people to understand where I live but so is a lot of other things.. for them.

i'm old enough to remember the Vaughn Dunbar draft pick.. and Irv Smith.

who would you rather have today.. Aaron Craver or Ray Zellars??

one of them could snipe some TD's at the goal line like Kuhn has. And Mike Karney that one time against Dallas.

Ricky Williams and Reggie Bush and sprinkle in some McCallister....would be insane. Those 3 were by far the most talented backs we've ever had
