Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.

During the season? Benching Carr at this point, would’ve replaced Carmichael during the bye week if that was a serious consideration. After the season? Replacing Pete. Carr’s contract is going to have him on the field.

My biggest fear, my nightmare fuel, the thing that scares me most in the world, is that the Saints do not fire Dennis Allen at the end of the season. I live in dread they fire Pete and give Dennis Allen another year. I’m not sure I can handle that emotionally.

It's definitely benching Carmichael.

There's blind hope that you remove the easy problem and the Carr problem (which you can't walk away from) solves itself too.

That's not going to happen, but that would be the thinking of management who is grasping for straws to fix the mess it caused.

I hate to break it to you but it’s very likely they retain Allen. They’re going to give him a chance to hire a new OC and make it work with Carr. I hope I’m wrong though…

What is there to do or change. We have the right people in the building, our offense is explosive, the team is just being a little inconsistent. You just have to trust the process.

Plus, they may be able to finally fix the offensive woes since they are trying out kickers.

Fire Carmichael

Bench Carr

Roll with Jamies just for the upside and live with interceptions

If we make the playoffs great, if not season started terrible anyway with the current regime

Fire Allen at end of season

Hire new OC and Head Coach

Fire Looomis
