No not sarcasm. They still play the song cause they can't find a song to make the impact that this song does. If you're tired of it, i get it. Maybe quit going to the games for a while. But the song still gets the job done and we won the super bowl that year. End of story. The other generic music pop shite that doesn't rock the dome is way worse.
For real though, they should play taylor swift's shake it off and everybody dance their hinies off.

Nailed it. Last year for 1st game they experimented with other songs and it just wasnt the same. The song just works, especially the intro, at getting people riled up.

Nothing in particular. I personally don't think it needs to be replaced with one single song. How about mix it up a bit and then play that stupid crunk song at important moments.
Just don't think it needs to be played after a field goal by Dimke in the preseason.

I tend to sit back down when this comes on as do a lot of others in and around my section. It just doesn't pump people up as much anymore.

I agree that it doesn't quite pack the same wallop it once did. And in any other setting besides a Saints game I would hate that song.... But at Saints games it still frickin gets me amped! And it's part of the dome experience to me. I feel like it's football season when I'm at the dome and that song plays and I stand up and yell like maniac.
I understand why ppl don't like it that much. Objectively it's a shitty song. But I subconsciously identify it with our greatest Saints seasons so I love it.
