I really like Jack, Buckner, Rankins, Jones, Billings, Ogbah, Spence, Dodd and Lawson. I'd love it if we could get a combination of any of those with our first two picks.

The mocks have him all over the place. A few have him top 15. Most I've seen have him between 15-25 and a one or two I've seen have him at the top of the second.

I'm really starting to lean heavily toward us passing on the edge rusher in round 1 and going there with the 2nd pick. There's not huge drop off at all from any of those guys and at least 1, possibly 2, could be there around our pick. Don't think we should pass up the chance to add L. Treadwell to our offense if he is there. Also if the Bucs or Dolphins, specifically the Dolphins, land the Josh Norman sweepstakes that could push V. Hargreaves down to us as well. Those two guys are probably my 1A and 1B at this point.

I don't want Treadwell or any offensive player besides maybe an OG if he's BPA. WRs rarely contribute early, and we just spent a ton of money on a receiving TE. And I especially don't want Treadwell. The number of people going cold on him so fast is pretty alarming. The defense and interior offensive line need more help. I would definitely be ok taking Heargraves, but I think we need more help in the front seven.

my dream draft is starting to come into focus...

I like pass rusher in the 1st, several would do me fine. Lawson or Jack prolly my ideal targets

DT is as deep as I have ever seen. There should be 2 or 3 at #47 that still have 1st Rd or near 1st grades

OG Garnett has been mocked much to NOLA in the 3rd. I agree. He fits style and value there nicely. Landon Turner or Alexander maybe?

Treadwell may be a great player, but the Saints aren't a WR away from being a playoff contender. Brees and the passing offense have been fine for 10 years without "top flight" WRs. They'll be fine without one next season as well.Frankly, WR is a vastly overrated position.

I don't think there will be an interior linemen worthy of the #12 pick. You can find very good G/C in the 2-4 rounds. The front 7 MUST get better if they want to compete for Super Bowls. I wouldn't even really consider a DB unless there was absolutely zero front 7 guy I liked at #12. A great front 7 = great DBs, not the other way around. Carolina's GM knows that. That's why he let Norman walk. No one ever knows who Josh Norman is if he doesn't have Carolina's LBs and DL in front of him. Their front 7 is nasty and THE biggest reason they were so dominant last season (even with nothing at WR)

We aren't a defensive player away either. We need a DT, DE, OLB, WR, OG and probably some secondary help too. If you think Treadwell is the best WR and he's the BPA at those positions, you take him.

That being said, I think there will be better players available like Lawson and Rankins.

if Rankins, Reed, and Lawson are there at 12, i'd be calling Miami to try and get the 13th pick.... get 2 of the 3.... we don't have the luxury of time with an aging QB
