2011 was the best offense we've ever had, and it's not even close. I long for the days of putting up 40+ points a game.

He probably will be, but he's only had one season and it wasn't as good as Moore's best season so we'll still need to wait and see. People underrate LM all the time on here.

It's pretty close.

Moore's two best seasons:

2008: 79 receptions on 121 targets (65.3%) for 928 yards and 10 TDs
2012: 65 receptions on 104 targets (62.5%) for 1041 yards and 6 TDs

Snead:

2015: 69 receptions on 101 targets (65.6%) for 984 yards and 3 TDs
2016 Projection: 74 receptions on 96 targets (77.8%) for 1021 yards and 6 TDs - with only 15 GP

2009 and 2011 offenses were better however this is our best wr core if you aren't factoring in tight ends (graham, shockey) and rbs (Thomas, bush, sproles) as receivers. Anyone who thinks meachem and Henderson were great receivers are a little biased bc we won a superbowl w then. They were role players while Snead, Thomas, and cooks are WAY more versatile as wide receivers

Snead is a different WR than moore. Snead can play outside.

Cooks
Snead
Thomas

Can be the best trio in saints history by a longshot.....

Moore played outside....

quote:

Though often thought of as a slot receiver, it was Colston and not Moore who was used more in the slot by New Orleans last season. According to our own Mike Clay, Moore played in the slot 23% of the time in 2010, and 28% of the time in 2009.

Moore was a typical slot WR.... sometimes teams put big bodied WR in the slot to create a mismatch. Moore was most effective in the slot.

That spent the majority of his time on the outside?

Yea, this wasn't a sometimes thing for the saints.

If anything, Moore, the typical slot receiver, only played in the slot sometimes.

You said:

When Moore literally played on the outside for the Saints more than the slot.

Moore was most effective in the slot.

He was most effective when he started outside for the saints. When he got older, he played the slot (Pitt) and wasn't effective.

Cooks > Henderson
Snead > Moore
Thomas > Colston
Coleman <<< Meachem

All wiped out by the fact that travaris cadet lines up at wideout

Well, maybe I was thinking about his potential.. I think he could wind up being better for us than colston was

Depends on how long Brees stays around I guess
