Those are actually good points. With as bad as he's been you figure he still has to be better than that dumpster fire Bryce Harris. He killed us while Armstead was out.

I could see the argument as a backup, but I question that he'd take the vet minimum at this point in his career. Bryce being in the game always had an immediate effect, and not for the better.

Yeah my only concerns about the Oline entering last year were center and backup tackle. I thought Goodwin/Lelito would take care of center and had no idea both Grubbs and Evans would play subpar, but backup tackle definitely bit us in the arse.

To me, it's insane to say that Brady had a -2 game in the Super Bowl.
Brady made 6 throws in that game that required some difficulty. 2 were ints, one was incomplete, one was a td, and one was a completion. I understand the -2. They arent giving points for pre snap reads

ETA: Brady had a good game btw. But I see how they rated him like that

I'm not gonna lie, I'm down on PFF this year. I think they expanded their crew to quickly, and lost the consistency that the core group had.

Would it help sway you back to liking them if I told you they had Donte Hightower as the #2 ILB and Jamie Collins as the #3 ILB?

Question is, was part of the issues with Grubbs & Evans bc Godwin/Leltio didn't take care of their own and Grubbs/Evans kept getting caught cheating inside.

Don't want oher, but for those that say Strief is one of the best RT's... You must not watch a lot of the average to best RT's.

Below average without a doubt. Gets beat on 7 out of 10 plays.

No. He does his job with how we scheme our pass protection. We force guys to take wide angles on the outside and then keep trying to push them around and keep them from coming back up. The middle is supposed to hold to let Brees step up.

I'm not saying he never gets beat but you aren't recognizing what we are trying to do with protection.

The last 2 years PFF would disagree with you

You're an idiot. Strief is not that bad at RT and is actually the least of our concerns on the offensive line.
