Announced concession prices for games:

Hot Dog: 2.00
Pizza Slice: 3.00
Beer: 5.00

Haven't been to Saints game in awhile. How does Super Dome compare? Blank says prices to be norm.

Another way to fill the butthole. Take notes, Vegas.

The Falcons haven’t quite reached the level of some of the NFL’s circuses, but at least the bread (and tube steaks) will be cheaper.

Via Darren Rovell of ESPN.com, the Falcons are rolling back prices on concession items to what is suggested to be the cheapest in major pro sports.

For $2, fans can get a bottle of water or a hot dog or a bottomless soda (which may be a good deal but does not lead to the absence of bottom on the drinker). A slice of pizza or nachos or some fries or a bag of peanuts will set you back $3.

A 12-ounce cup of mass-produced domestic beer is $5.

“We’ll be able to feed a family of four at our games for $27,” said Steve Cannon, CEO of the AMB Group, which oversees all of Falcons owner Arthur Blank’s businesses. “That’s 60 to 70 percent cheaper than our competitors.”

Cannon said they discussed the appropriate price points on beer specifically. Too expensive, and they won’t sell enough. Too cheap, and you run the risk of a riot. Cleveland proved in 1974 that 10-cent beer night was a spectacularly poor idea.

But the Falcons are hoping to make up some of the money by dealing in bunk. There will be 670 concessions points in their new stadium, which is 65 percent more than in the Georgia Dome.

We’ll see after a few seasons whether than requires making seats in the new building 65 percent wider.

Those prices are much much cheaper.

BTW I hear Blank is going to pump in artificial food smells into the sphincter dome to excite the fan/fans into a feeding frenzy

gonna be using those bar-s brand hot dogs (you know, the 99 cent on sale ones) instead of the good shite.

i never understood the price of nachos though....you could literally buy a tub of the cheese for $7 and the 2x3lb bag of chips for $8....such a ripoff

Well they have to do something after those PSL's. I'll take an $8 hotdog over the amount of cash you have to shell out just for the right to buy a seat. PSL's are borderline criminal.

Those prices are only valid for the fans who are generating the piped in crowd noises.

Have we seen the ticket prices yet, I bet they more than make up for concessions with ticket hike.

Nice to see concessions at that price, it needs to trickle down to college events.

I enjoy "all you can drink gin" for free at all sporting events and concerts for the rest of my life Pre-drink at venues around the stadium, and then once inside where the 1000% price increases hit, I usually supplement with a cup of ice water or a bottle of Sierra Mist from the concessions if I'm feeling frisky

We don't have to do that, because we sell out our games.

I sure did see a lot of empty seats last season... and the season before that. Hell, don't even get me started on where Saints fans were in the 4th quarters of most of your home games the last 2 seasons.

But continue.
