The stats don't tell the whole story. Untimely fumbles, dancing in the backfield, disappearing for entire games. And he wasn't worth trading up for, not in the modern NFL. Am I glad he's doing better than usual? Yes. Are there dozens of other backs who could put up those numbers? yes.

You're just wrong man. He's not an elite NFL RB but that is a very rare breed this day and age. If the defense opens up holes for him he's going to hit them

Only 11 other RBs have better rushing numbers
0 have less carries.

He is averaging 5.3 YPC

He's averaging 5.3 yards per carry...good for 2nd in the NFL. Zeke is at 4.9 behind the best OL I've ever seen.

Zeke also has like 100 more carries so it should be lower to be fair.

Honestly, the majority of starting NFL RB's score on the run he had first play of the second half. Dude can't make it happen.

He can't outrun a safety that is playing 25 yards deep. He ended up juking the safety(who had perfect position to make the tackle) and got tackled from behind by another db after the change of direction. Ingram got all that he could and was moving pretty damn fast.

If that safety wasn't camping back there...he would've ran into the endzone with the closest guy being 10 yards from him.

The guy had a 70+ yard td earlier in the season but yeah he "just can't make it happen." I'm sure that one was just an easy run that everyone could have scored on.

If you think speed is the most important thing with backs, you probably play too much Madden

The Mark Ingram hate is somewhat unwarranted. He has been an above average RB for the Saints. However, he wasn't worth trading up in the first round for, that's for damned sure.

first run of the game he broke 4 tackles for a 16 yard gain. The first coming at the LOS, which should have been a gain of 1 at best.
