For a guy who gets a ton of flack, even after his contract, he was one of the only bright spots this year for the team.

He officially finishes the season through 12 games played:
166 carries (14th)
769 yards (11th)
64.1 YPG (T-14th)
4.6 YPC (T-11th - removing QBs)
6 Touchdowns (T-6th)
1 FumL (T-45th)

50 receptions (4th among all RBs)
405 yards (5th among all RBs)

1174 all-purpose yards (5th among all RBs)
1174 combined rushing/receiving yards (4th - behind Peterson, Martin, and Freeman)

One more stat to add - he finished 4th among RBs in fantasy points through 12 weeks (standard scoring)

He was 2nd for a long time until our offense choked 2 weeks in a row

If the guy could somehow figure out how to get his pad level down, he's be a very good back. He's come a long way. His vision was non-existent when he first arrived here. He's developed into a good RB.

In the past 3-4 weeks, I've seen him get his pad down and break tackles. IIRC, this past week he had that 14-15 yard run where he broke one big hit and picked up that extra 10.

He's been the only skill player on offense besides Breesus who looked like he gave a shite. His two main weaknesses had been pass protection and receiving out of the backfield. He's turned himself into an excellent pass blocker and a plus receiver out of the backfield. I've been frustrated with him in the past, but much respect to what he's managed to do and his hard work this year.

He had one amazing block last week on the long catch and run by Coleman on the left side in the 3rd. I was like

He did everything we signed Spiller to do. Made that signing irrelevant.

I was afraid he wouldn't care/try after getting his contract. But he hasn't done that at all. Props to him for showing up every week and doing his part

Ingram is built like a horse, it'd be nice to get a 16 game season from him in his prime years

He's been good for us, and if he had played college anywhere else this wouldn't even be controversial

Color me shocked; an LSU fan who does not like an Alabama player in the NFL, who is also currently leeching off the government at the highest level. GFY.

So who's replacing him? Is it going to be Murphy and Spiller?

Hightower. You know Spiller isn't getting more than 5 touches per game.
