Figured Ball would be the odd man out. Hope he can get on somewhere.

I don't even remember who the other guys are.

I guess. And they're called ellipsis...not dot dot dot. You make a smart comment half of the time and your jokes are smart half of the time. I'm still not sure what to make of you.

Zimmerman actually had a very good college career. I was excited when the Saints signed him as an UDFA. I think he was one of those guys who just didn't have the physical skills to make the same plays he made in college.

Why release them now though and not at least see what some of the new guys look like at camp? Are we over the 90 man limit already?

I think we are over the limit with the UDFAs we signed. However, there are many FAs that were signed in the offseason who were not even on rosters last year that I would have thought would have been released before these guys.

A lot of times they release these guys early so they can catch on elsewhere.

Cutting ball hurt. We're still on the hook for 4 of his 6 thousand guaranteed bonus.

Zimmerman had a bad injury at camp last year. Don't think he's touched a field since.

Who was the WR for us last year that practiced for about a week and then retired?

Ball is disappointing but honestly he didn't play well despite extended snaps. Knox was showing some potential but if the rookies are as good as expected he was not making the squad. Bye Zimmy.

They cut off our Ball and got rid off our Jimmy but we still have our Byrd and our Bush.

Positional log jam at safety and they know who they are keeping (Byrd, Vaccaro, Bush, Sunseri, and Warren make five). Same with OLB now. They keep close track of how many they have at each position for the offseason rotational snaps.
