Burrow barring injury is going too 3 and going to win the Heisman.

However Tua (who is a better prospect when healthy) will probably go outside of the top 10.

The Saints would have a very difficult time moving from the very back of the draft to top 3 but could trade into the teens with a pair of 1st rounders.

Instead of the dream of Burrow the Saints could very easily get Tua who is a lot like Brees and does throw the best deep ball in college.

(As a LSU fan I HATE typing this but I do however like Tua though I hate Alabama.)

I’m actually ok with this. Only hated Tua because he played for Bama.

Not sure I agree with that. Burrow just seems to have it. I also love how much he works the middle of the field as a college qb.

I’ve never thought Tua was a great QB and don’t really get the hype.

But with his injury history, I wouldn’t touch him before the 3rd round. He won’t make it a month in the NFL.

oh idk, Tua has just been a near perfect QB for going on 3 years now

so if ya go off 10 games of good tape (burrow) vs 30+ of good tape (Tua) then ya Burrow is a better prospect

someone will reference Burrow's performance in Joe Brady's system like he is the only QB on the planet that can learn and excel in it

He could miss next year so he could fall further.

Once they enter the NFL, I don't give a damn where they went to school as long as they contribute.

Tua is not a better prospect than Burrow. Thats laughable.

That is all I wanted to contribute.

Yea, I’m not saying Tua is better or will be better but 6 months ago everyone on the planet thought Tua was better. Should we really throw out all prior beliefs over 1 season of college football?

The Gumps did a very good job simplifying reads for him. Sean’s system would have to be completely reworked. Brees’ strength is reading a defense. That’s built into our very complicated system. Joe seems to flourish reading defenses. That isn’t Tua’s game.

No sure thing Tua will be the same player again.

that is a serious injury.

Of course modern medicine yada yada yada but I'm not high on Tua because he gets hurt a little much. Great ability and a great competitor but I dunno about his durability.

Rex Ryan on Get Up this morning had a perfect comment on how NFL draft rooms view players. He said if they get hurt in college they’ll get hurt in the pros. He will now have two surgically repaired ankles and a rebuilt hip. He will be a big risk for any team that takes him.

The upside for him is he’ll likely get picked up by a team like New England or San Diego and be in a much better position than Cincinnati or Miami.

Joe is definitely unattainable but I'd be leery of a charmin soft Tua.

He hasn't played a full season without some kinda of injury that he had surgery for. Yes the tightrope isnt a required surgery but surgery still.

I wouldn't be so sure Tua could though. Brady's system is similar to Payton's system which requires a smart web that can read a defense very well.

Joe seems to be Miles ahead of not only Tua but most college level qbs in that regard
