Loomis operates like he’s addicted to payday loans.

1. Constantly robs from the future to pay for today with the salary cap.

Has costs the Saints Trey Hendrickson, Kaden Ellis, David Onyemata, and Alex Azalone in just recent years. If we had them instead of Turner, Maye, and doubling down on Davenport then the future would look a lot better. Our defense would be elite.

2. Uses draft picks to fix mistakes, instead of changing behaviors.

Drafted Turner to fix the Davenport mistake and the mistake of letting Hendrickson leave

Drafted Penning to fix the Peat mistake , meanwhile even as bad as Peat is he looks better than Penning.

3. Overpaid for a flashy item (Carr) when the cheaper item (Mayfield) fixes the financial hell the Saints were in.

Had the Saints saved $35 mil in cap in 2023 they could have let Jordan retire, traded away a player or two at the end of their playing career like Kamara or Ramczyk to playoff teams at the deadline to further clean up the teams cap situation and entered 2024 with a all in trade up scenario for Daniels and with some serious cap space in 2025 and 2026.

Loomis is an idiot saved by Payton. I think with every year that goes by this will be proven over and over again.

I have a lot of thoughts on players now that the season is over. All of them are correct.

Your opinions are hindsight and amateur at best.

This is what the 49ers did back in the day before the reckoning from 1999-2010; two winning seasons in that span.

I agree with everything you said except for Analzone. He was not good here, and we did a pretty good job replacing with Werner.

The one thing that really frustrates me with Loomis is how Marcus Williams ended his tenure here. He made a giant mistake not resigning Malcolm Jenkins, and replaced him with Byrd. History then repeats itself with us getting a semi-washed Mathieu to replace Marcus.

Very true. Its insane to think we viewed Carr as the flashy item. Mayfield offers so much more upside for a fraction of the cost. He was an ultra-competitive heisman winner with a big arm, and already had a playoff win under his belt. Fans just hated on his personality and used it to discredit him. Saints fans were so confident Carr was the right choice

Its going to get worse not better my friend. The off season has just begun. Trolls will pile on. Other teams fans will post and pile on. And then the haters and wanna be's. Then the pessimistic Saints fans sprinkled with a couple of optimistic Saints fans and finally post generators and Saints promoters.

FYI free agency starts March 13
Contacting on March 11

Unless it’s restructured. The Saints need to restructure contracts for cap purposes and Carr’s contract by far is the easiest to restructure to save money. Carr himself has stated he wants to restructure.

Then $100,000,000 over the cap next year with the oldest roster in the NFL.

With no reasonable shot at a championship foreseen for a long time.

The issues this franchise faces can't be solved without destroying the franchise itself first.

Mickey didn't answer questions because he doesn't have any answers and he thinks just getting out of the Q&A alive is the best possible result.

One thing he definitely did say was that going he was going to make the team uncomfortable. So we got that to look forward to.

Since when does a GM know football and scouting? Loomis didn't make the decision to cut Trey. He followed instructions. He has no clue on football personnel neither does any GM.
