Packers look by far & away the best team in the NFL...Super Bowl hangover WTF??

I hate having to pull for those assholes in Atlanta, but I'll be their biggest fan Sunday night. I don't see Packers losing more than 3 games, @ falcons, @sd, @ detroit, @nygiants are their only games on paper they will struggle with...and will probably be favored in all 4..of course it's the NFL so who knows but in the meantime, we are looking at finishing at the very worst 14-2 for homefield. Let's go Falcons

There have already been a few threads on this, but you always pull for the Division rival to lose. You have to make the playoffs before you can care about who and where you play in them.

Worry about GB losing to other teams...they aren't going to go undefeated.

You never pull for a division opponent this early in the season. In order for HFA to be a factor, you first have to win the division. The easiest path to that is for your divisional opponents to lose as many games as possible.

Thus, you don't pull for the Falcons this week, and your post was neither clever nor edgy.

I will be. The only reason I wouldn't pull for the Dirty Birds is if I was worried about beating them, which I'm not. The only division game I'm slightly worried about is a slip up to Carolina for some reason.

I want GB to go down. I sure as hell don't want to play in Lambeau in January. Not to mention they are basically 2 games ahead of us since they would have the tie-breaker.

I agree. We will have played one game all year where the temp wasn't 70 degrees. That's tough going from 70 to 10.

It doesn't matter who we root for, Green Bay is going to beat the Falcons to sleep.

what about a tie?

in all reality, no way atlanta brings it as close as 1 play to possibly win or tie the game to force an OT. even at home.

You know they don't stand a chance right? Why would we root for something improbable while at the same time rooting for the team we loathe? It would be failure and disappointment all around. I'm just gonna sit back and laugh at em.

Oh, and this. I'd root for the Nazi All-Stars coached by Hitler himself against the Atlanta fricking Falcons.

I'd pull for the falcons before pulling for obama.

This early in the season, you don't want to pull for the Falcons.

IF, by some grace of God, the Falcons pulled this off at home you could rev up a team that on paper is better than the piss poor showings they've had.
