Forgot that Brees is only 10k from being the all time leader in passing yards currently held by Manning.

Bree's #4 all time

Possible to pass him in two seasons, but definitely three. Brady is the only one the will threaten Brees having the top spot (and maybe Rodgers in several years after that).

Edit:
Actually check that, I don't think anyone but Brady will challenge the lead. Rodgers is already 32 and would only be around the same pace as Eli and Rothelisberger.

Sometimes forget Rogers spent a few years behind Favre before getting going. Doesn't seem like he should be that old already.

Amazing run the last 10 years with the Saints. Brady is 40 and I was assume Bree's will have 2 more years or so on Brady to pad the lead before Brees retires.

Also means less mileage on his body. Might be able to play a little longer.

Rogers is at 32k passing yards btw vs 72k being numbers 1.

I mean he has an outside shot at it but Brady and Brees will probably be closer to 75,000-80,000 before hanging it up.

Rodgers will have to play until he's 42 to reach that. Same with all the others around the top.

Brees and Brady will likely be 1 and 2 for a loooooooooong time.

Possible, but I'd say about as much as Rodgers. Since 2011 his yards have gone down (or stayed almost the same the last two years; 5 yard rise) every year.

Without CJ I think he'll find it harder and harder to stay above 4,000. Last two years he's been about 4,200. I see the downward trend continuing.

Fans take it for granted I feel, we've been spoiled for a decade now with one of the best QBs that's ever played the game. I wish it could go on for years and years more, love that guy.

Don't forget, Brady is missing 4 games this year too. Brees should be able to get further out in front of Brady, baring injury.

It really is going to come down to how long each guy plays though. Out of all the QBs in the league I think these guys and Rodgers are the only ones with the potential to play past 40.

But a lot of factors will determine how long each one plays, so while Brees has the edge...

And I won't say any more because I'm not going to jinx anything.

Plus, Rogers doesn't put up the yards that Drew does year after year.

Another benefit that Brees has over Brady and most of the other QBs on this list is that he plays a minimum of 9 games per year in a dome.

Factor that in to his age compared to Brady and the 4 game suspension and he should be able to comfortably pass Brady in passing TDs this season.

He actually should have 3rd all time in Passing yards, completions and TDs to himself by the end of week 4.
