The Saints never had a chance at drafting him.

Udonze will be top 10 pick maybe top 5. I'd take above Harrison

I believe Olave will be our #1 after MT is gone. I think his attitude either changes for the better, or he gets big head syndrome and wants to get paid after a lack-luster year. I like AT Perry and Shaheed, but with timid OC calls and no shots down the field, who cares about speed and separation?

They should trade up and find a way to get a qb. This is a good draft for qbs. Getting a ranfom wr or olineman will not change the trajectory of this team with multiple holes to fix.

How did that work out for the Panthers?
Every damn year is a “good draft” for a QB. People who push the QB narrative every year are the worst. There is usually one, maybe two starting QBs every year.

So just draft the first QB on the board at around the 15 spot and we will automatically be better than last year? Forget that the offensive line sucks, the coaching sucks and the defense is inconsistent. We're just a random young QB away from SB contention.

No we’re not thats the point. We have to rebuild and big part of that is finding a qb. Especially in a draft with a lot if qb talent. We have way too many holes to patch up and be a contender.

How’d it work for us signing Carr?

How about we patch those holes. Build the offensive line and find a pass rusher. Then find a QB to replace Carr since he isn’t going anywhere for at least another year.

Look at guys like Brees and Eli. They had guys like Doug Flute and Kurt Warner for them to compete with. We need to nail down the LT and LG spot and find a pass rusher. Those are priority #1 IMO.

And you trust this regime to find an above average QB in the draft? Quit drinking. If you aren't drinking think about starting.

You don’t patch holes when the ship is basically underwater. You buy a god damn new ship.

If you don’t trust this regime to draft a qb? What do you trust them to do? Every saints fan drinks for a reason.

We stuck with Carr at least one year probably two more years.

We invested in dt with a first last year. And a first in Turner and a high 2nd in Fosky last year.

If we still drafting dline early again, someone needs to be fired.

Having a good QB on a sinking ship gets you a drowned QB. See Archie Manning.

Fix the ship. Fix the OL. Find a pass rusher. Then get the QB when you can protect him and have guys around him to make plays.

So we shouldn’t draft a quarterback because the good one we drafted in 1970 didn’t work out? Lol ok solid reasoning.

I trust that they will be mediocre at best.

Priority should be left tackle or right tackle. You could probably try Penning at right tackle or kick him inside to left guard.

Next should be legit Nose tackle, a big guy like Vita Vea. A space eater.

If none available, look for possible inside line backer (replacement for Davis)

Maybe a certain quarterback drops to second?

Or look for big receivers
